The idea was to develop characters and sets, handmade, presenting the Christmas offers of Optimus.
It was fun to invent different personalities and see them come alive. Hand drawing approvals before applying the costumes and shooting the puppets.
The sets were also surprising, some took a lot of work, others, like the mountain, were as simple as crumpling a A1 paper sheet.
At first, a short movie was to be made, but unfortunately never happened.
This productions happen in such a short period of time that we always feel we could do so much more with the end result. Not a complain just a reality.
We’d would love to do more of these projects in the future.

It was a cool project and working with Sara is always good fun. One condition only, no changes after sketches approval stage.
It came out to be a good choice, even though it's a small project we like it. It actually won the prize of best illustration.
Recreating Helmut Newton on paper is always an honor. So here it is.

Sure, why not. We had to train a bear for two whole years and then shoot it.
Well, not really, no cycling bear at hand. So we worked with a dozen photos to create this composition.
Toshiba’s advertising campaign concept is about impossible situations.
The copy reads “This is more probable to happen then a Toshiba to break down”.
So, here he is escaping the city on a bike...
Leg B. with the head nr.3 plus paws from picture 8.
More sun behind the skyline please.

Besides the advertising campaigns for the opening of four hospitals we were asked to create CUF’s internal communication for several departments.
“Why is it that regarding health services, ads usually are so dull and serious?”
No headaches here, we decided to opt for a direct and humorous approach.
Here’s a small selection.

So Havas WW throws us the idea and we make it happen. We made dozens of them. Always red light deadlines but working with a super team.
Here’s a few...

Each ad features the local ex-libris, being small fishing villages, gothic windows, you name it, transformed into a beer glass. Saúde!
along with typical expressions (some lost in translation here).
The concept we developed for this project is an homage to all the artists that drinked, lived and died here. It is to the ones we admire.
It is an homage to Bairro Alto. The soul of Lisbon.
a person who is interested in artistic and unusual things, for example art, music, or literature, and lives in an informal way that ignores the usually accepted ways of behaving.
Manifesto:
Weapon used by artists to present their principles and intentions.
It represents irreverence, the breaking of a cycle, the beginning of a new chain.
For all that happened and will happen in Bairro Alto.
Applying, with a sense of humor, its reinterpretation within the irreverence and originality of these artists.
The Bohemian manifesto is a transversal element to the personalities that have marked our history and elevated our culture.
To whom we owe so much.
To those who created eternal works, developed between each glass of wine.
Creating and producing big dimensions art installations for the venue. Designing and producing exterior and interior furniture. Finding the tree, that was cut 40 years ago, for the 14 meters long bar counter. The huge marble block for the 9 meters kitchen counter. All different suppliers to manage.
"The best restaurant in Lisbon. Cool but sophisticated ambiance..." (Claire Havet). "Amazing to see all the effort put into every detail, brilliant design and quality!"(John Tegner). "excited to find a most elegant, modern enjoyable atmosphere, vibrant and fashionable..."(Yael Meni). We manage to develop something original and unique.
